1. I am writing to you further to our letter dated 29 November 2002, regarding the above applications for planning permission and conservation area consent.

2. You will note that paragraph 5 of that letter stated that unless an Environmental Statement was received by 13 December 2002, the Inquiry due to commence on 14 January 2003 would be cancelled with immediate effect.

3. As we have not received an Environmental Statement as requested, the Inquiry due to commence on 14 January 2002 is hereby cancelled. No further action will be taken with regard to the above applications.

A copy of this letter has been sent to the London Borough of Richmond.
